So what is the truth of history? Le Van Duyet was born in 1763, originally in Bo De village, Mo Duc district, Quang Ngai province. From his inner life, he emigrated to Nam to live in Dinh Tuong. Le Van Duyet had the assistant Nguyen Phuc Anh to be promoted to Cai Co. Sunflower I'm blunt because God rolled me that way. He made many great victories, contributing to bringing Nguyen Phuc Anh to the throne. In 1801, King Gia Long conferred on him to be Kham to honor the army of the Western general, Deprivation of the district. In 1802, he and Nguyen Van Thanh and Le Chat sent troops to pacify the North, and were led by the Prime Minister to discuss the origin of Thanh Hoa and Nghe An. In 1812, he was conferred the title of Gia Dinh provincial governor, protecting the Chanle (Cambodia). For the second time, in 1820, he was again appointed as Gia Dinh provincial governor. He governed Gia Dinh and the South until his death (1832). Le Van Duyet died while still in office, aged 69 years.
