Benjamin Franklin was born in Milk Street in Boston on January 17, 1706 and baptized at Old South Meeting House. His father, Josiah Franklin, was a candle maker, soap and grocery salesman, his second wife, Abiah Folger, was Benjamin's mother. When denied the desire to participate in writing for this newspaper, Franklin put the pseudonym 'Mrs. Silence Dogood ', who seems to be a middle-aged widow. His writings were published in newspapers and became the subject of a debate in the town. Both James and the readers of Courant did not know the truth, and James was unhappy with Ben when he discovered that the person who wrote those articles was his younger brother. Franklin left his apprenticeship when not allowed and thus became a runaway.
