Switzerland received the first Bf 109s in 1938 when ten Bf 109Ds were delivered. Cow American Flag Jungle Sunshine Canvas. Later, an additional 80 109E-3s were ordered and delivered from April 1939 until just before Germany invaded France in the summer of 1940. During the war, the Swiss Air Force occupied four more Bfs. 109 (two versions F and two G). The number of 109E aircraft added eight were built under a concession license from a spare part by Doflug, in Altenrhein and delivered in 1944. In April 1944, Switzerland owned twelve more G-6 aircraft in exchange for destroying a top secret Messerschmitt Bf 110G night fighter forced to make an emergency landing in Switzerland. Doctor. The new 109G aircraft are affected by many defects in production; and after many incidents in operation, they were withdrawn from service in May 1948. The 109Es continued to serve until December 1949.
